April 16th Den Meeting

Last night the Bears worked on:
Achievement 16c (Compete in Relays with your den)
Achievement 3a (Write about what makes America special to you)
Achievement 3f (Help with Flag Ceremony)
HOMEWORK
Achievement 3g (Display the flag in your home)
Achievement 3j (Talk about Citizenship)
**THIS COMPLETES ACHIEVEMENT #3 **


We also focused on earning the "US HERITAGE AWARD". There are 8 requirements.

We worked on:
Requirement 1: (When was the Declaration of Independence adopted?)
Requirement 3: (Recite the Pledge of Allegiance and explain its meaning)
Requirement 4: (4 sections about the flag and showing respect for the flag)
Requirement 5: (Make a list of the original 13 colonies)
Requirement 6: (Who is the President of the United Sates)
Requirement 7: (Write about why America is special to me OR Draw a picture of a famous person in American History and tell what they did)


Upcoming Events:

Pack Meeting April 22 at ALE. Theme: Abracadabra. Come see a real magician! MAKE SURE TO BE ON TIME, WE ARE STARTING AT 7:00!

May 23-25 Camping at Holcomb Valley Family Scout Camp. Sign-ups will be at the April Pack Meeting. Registration is $30 per person. Food cost TBD.
