The Webelos will be going to the L.A. County Zoo on Saturday, Oct. 26th. We will be meeting at 9am. Place TBD. Come in your Halloween Costume.

May Pack Meeting Awards
Pack meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday at Alta Loma Elementary School @ 7:00. The theme is "Leaf it to the Cubs".

Den Meeting May 14th
We had den meeting at the park yesterday where we worked on a den clean-up project by picking up trash. The den clean-up project was Bear Achievement 6g and it was also the last requirement for the U.S. Heritage Award that the boys have been working on. Andy finished earning the award last night. (for those bears who started working on the award April 16th, but were not at the den meeting yesterday - Joshua, Joshua & Spencer- Please learn the 1st verse of the Star Spangled Banner and go to your local park and clean-up some litter...let me know when you get a chance to finish those last two requirements. I have to special order the awards) Here is a list of the Bear Achievements we worked on yesterday:

April 16th Den Meeting

We also focused on earning the "US HERITAGE AWARD". There are 8 requirements.
We worked on:
Requirement 1: (When was the Declaration of Independence adopted?)
Requirement 3: (Recite the Pledge of Allegiance and explain its meaning)
Requirement 4: (4 sections about the flag and showing respect for the flag)
Requirement 5: (Make a list of the original 13 colonies)
Requirement 6: (Who is the President of the United Sates)
Requirement 7: (Write about why America is special to me OR Draw a picture of a famous person in American History and tell what they did)

Pack Meeting April 22 at ALE. Theme: Abracadabra. Come see a real magician! MAKE SURE TO BE ON TIME, WE ARE STARTING AT 7:00!

April 10th Den Meeting
April 10th Den Meeting:
This week the Bears started meeting with the Wolf Den. The Bears worked on:
Bear Achievement #15 (Games, Games, Games) Part c. (Learn and Play a new game)
Bear Achievement #9 (What's Cooking) Part B. (Make Den Snack)
Homework for Bears this week
Bear Achievement #13
Part a. (Go grocery shopping with a family member)
Part c. ( Keep a record of how you spend for 2 weeks) IF YOU KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU EARN AND SPEND FOR 3 WEEKS, IT COUNTS FOR THE MATHEMATICS BELTLOOP.
Part g. (Figure out how much it costs for each person in your family to eat 1 meal) Hint: take the total cost of your meal and divide it by the number of people in your family.
We also discussed arrangements for our Conservation Project on April 26th. IF THE BOYS HELP WITH THE PROJECT IT WILL SATISFY BEAR ACHIEVEMENT #6 (CARE OF YOUR PLANET) PART G. (TAKE PART IN A DEN OR PACK CLEANUP PROJECT)
We will meet at the San Gabriel Canyon Environmental Education Center, across the street from the Rincon Fire Station at 8:00am. We will plan to do about 1 to 2 service hours. Then we will drive up the street to the East Fork River and do some fishing. This will complete the World Conservation Award and the Fishing Beltloop.
Please bring:
Plenty of WATER and a Sack Lunch to eat while we fish.
Next week Arpil 16th we will start having Den Meetings on Wednesdays!
